The new era of Platja d’en Bossa

The new era of Platja d’en Bossa

It wasn’t until quite recently that the area of Playa d’en Bossa, in the municipality of Sant Josep, took over as Ibiza’s main hotspot. Its impressive beach, the longest of the island, is one of its main assets, always there to pamper our senses all-year-round.

However, a quiet revolution has taken place in the past few years, a revolution led by Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, which has turned the whole concept of partying in Ibiza inside out.

With this season about to start, the open-air club has started to announce its line up for this upcoming summer. Basing ourselves in what it’s been doing in the past seasons, we can already anticipate a record-breaking season. Specially, given that Avicii will retire from the live scene and will play his last season at Ushuaïa from where he has grown into a global superstar.

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel has recently unveiled another secret of its summer calendar: the residence of international DJ Steve Aoki. Having performed at Ushuaïa in 2013 and 2014, Aoki will host his own party, called Neon Future with five dates distributed between June 22 and September 15. He will also count on a number of special guests, to be confirmed soon.

Year 2014 saw the beginning of yet another revolutionary spot in Platja d’en Bossa: Hard Rock Hotel, which has also started to slowly unveil its line up for Summer2016. One of its most anticipated parties is Children of the 80s, which will be returning this year –again on Sundays- to delight of the lovers of this magical decade.

The area is quickly and steadily filling up with places you must check out on your visit to Ibiza and we will make sure you know them all. We are sure you will not want to leave the area… at least for a while.
