The wait is over, finally, Amnesia has revealed the details of the closing party for 2018. Needless to say, this is one you don’t want to miss out on. Just like last year, this closing will be 12 hours of non-stop music– so get some rest before the party, you´ll need it! Everyone knows the best part of a party awaits towards the end of the night (or early morning). The doors open at 10pm on the 13th of October.

Amnesia has been one of the main clubs on the island since it´s opening in 1976 by Antonio Escohotado. His aim was a to provide a space for the people of Ibiza where their problems could be forgotten and where they could escape into a world far away from routine and rules- Amnesia was the fitting name for this vision, translating to “loss of memory” in Latin. Almost half a century later, this environment is still maintained and felt at the club. An extraordinary environment which transcends you through energy, music and dance.

This year the lineup is even bigger: a fine-picked selection of DJ´s on Ibiza leading the same dancefloor on the same night. Amnesia have invited many DJ residents from their own parties to host the closing. Paco Osuna– a regular at Music On, alongside Do Not Sleep pioneer Darius Syrossian. Luigi Madonna, who lead the building of the new party Pyramid this season and the regular host De La Swing from Elrow as well as ABODE´s GW Harrison. If that wasn´t enough, there´s at least a dozen more artists with more still to be confirmed.

Amnesia has had an extremely successful season this year especially considering the quantity of new parties it has introduced. Vibra, Pyramid and Abode were all brand new to the club and were accepted openly by fans of the club. With the exception of Vibra which is usually host to reggeaton music, Amnesia is known for its electronica, techno and house music-.expect to see genres similar to these in the closing party.

Are you ready to end the summer in an unforgettable way?
