Playasol Ibiza Radio, the most wonderful music station on the island

Playasol Ibiza Radio, the Playasol Ibiza Hotels music station in Ibiza and Formentera, was born out of the need to fill a gap in Ibiza’s music scene that until now has not been taken up by any radio chain. A varied mix of styles that characterise the DNA of his radio and go much further than just electronic music.

With DJs like Andy Laguna, Cesar de Melero, Carlos Jurado, DJ Pippi, Rayco Santos and the legendary Alfredo (former resident DJ at Amnesia), they mix all kinds of music styles and include Playasol Ibiza Radio as an eclectic radio station and defender of the fabulous Balearic Beat Sound or “the original style of Ibiza”. This music was created in the 80s based on different styles, from Ethnic to Pop, House to Funk. Music that characterised Ibiza’s most authentic period, a kind of music that Playasol Ibiza Radio wants to bring back and broadcast on 92.4FM.

Playasol Ibiza boasts a prime location on the island, as its central studios are located in the lobby of the Hotel Playasol The New Algarb, at the foot of Playa d’en Bossa beach. Equipped with the latest sound and radio broadcasting technology, these studios go out over the whole of Ibiza and Formentera.

Tune your radio station to 92.4FM or stream it online from your browser from Let the sounds of the island be your accompanist and listen to this new varied and unique music offering. Because Ibiza is packed with harmony and tonality: Playasol Ibiza Radio. Be Eclectic, Be Balearic.
