With more than 52 beaches and coves and 210 kilometres of coastline, Ibiza’s turquoise blue waters will leave a lasting impression on you. Everyone who visits the island discovers a spot in the Mediterranean that would be the envy of the Caribbean.

Ibiza’s characteristic colour comes from the oceanic Posidonia, an aquatic plant which is the symbol of one of the island’s most important natural assets, and gives its waters their transparency. This is the reason why the prairie of the Natural Park of Ses Salines in Ibiza and Formentera was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999.
